The Story:

Returning to Westchester, the X-Men find Eric the Red and Firelord (Galactus' former herald) waiting for them. Firelord was duped into helping Eric, by thinking that the X-Men were trying to kill Eric. Meanwhile, Lilandra's ship is blown up by photon torpedos just after Lilandra teleports to Jean Grey's NYC apartment, where Jean, her parents, the Prof, and Jean's roommate Misty are having coffee. Firelord busts in, demanding Lilandra and the Prof. Jean gets pissed at the interruption and the destruction, transforms to Phoenix, and starts whomping Firelord. Eric the Red (who's real name is Shakari and was banished to Earth by Lilandra) grabs Lilandra and jumps through a stargate he constructed on a rooftop. Phoenix powers-up the stargate again with her raw power, and all the X-Men jump through, hoping to find Lilandra and help stop her brother.
